Implementing OKRs with Agile (workshop slides)

Over the last few years I’ve run a number of online OKR training sessions.

If I’m being honest, I still don’t feel I’ve found the right formula for these sessions. Or rather, I haven’t found the right content for a mixed group. When I run sessions for single clients and I can adjust content to fit the level of knowledge and company aims things are much better.

Here are the slides from my 2023 1-day “Implementing OKRs with Agile” workshop.

I hope these are useful, and please, make some comments here on what else you think should be included, and what should be removed.

So you are saying put OKRs in the left-hand column of my Kanban.. wow !

In a post workshop quiz 80% of attendees answer 80% of questions correctly

Who do I have to ‘kiss’ to get a copy of this quiz !? (I fully understand if it’s part of your consulting offering, not site freebees : )

On my last team we added “swim lanes” vertically - made the whole kanban board look like a chess board.

Each OKR got its own swim lane so we could see what work was happening against each OKR. And of course, which OKRs were not started or had already been completed.
